Livestream is accepting applications for full time Encoding Engineer positions.
Encoding Engineers are responsible for all elements of the Livestream encoding package set-up, operation, and strike before, during, and after an event, respectively. The Encoding Engineer will work in tandem with Livestream Producers and Camera Operators to ensure the proper live streaming of any particular broadcast. The encoding engineer may work alone or with a larger crew.
The ideal candidate will have experience with live video operations and live broadcast productions, and they must be able to work long hours along both day and night schedules. Applicants should be detail oriented and have excellent communication and organizational skills. A self-motivated collaborator that thrives in a team atmosphere is a must. Mac and PC proficiency is required. Additionally, the Encoding Engineer must take and pass the Livestream Encoding Certification program prior to accepting work as a Livestream Encoding Engineer. You must have a valid US Driver’s License to be considered. Owning your own car is a plus.
